I’ve learned that buying a headband with a huge bow is a bad idea. I have 2 which I’ve never worn, except for once on Halloween. But, I still really love how it looks on the model! I think you can only pull it off if you star on Gossip Girl or perhaps at an art show opening?
I was shown this blog at work today that curates iPhone apps. After browsing through it, one app particularly interested me: Hello 365 for iPhone #1. I was excited to download it as soon as I got home. Basically the app is a daily flip calendar with images by graphic designers from Japan. You can use the images as your iPhone wallpaper too.
During my lunch break today I walked next door to Tea Forest for some bubble milk tea (the jasmine one is really good). To my surprise there was a Phillip Lumbang mural on the wall, with all the animals – bear, panda, raccoon, and elephant!
Here’s a little cup he drew on the other wall
I asked the cashier if they asked Phillip to paint the mural or if they are friends with him. Apparently Phillip’s cousin works at the cafe. That’s my cool discovery of the day
While reading Fast Company this morning I saw some interesting YouTube videos on AR. Now adidas shoes are getting into it too…
Cool or not cool? Necessary? I don’t know, the writer of the article doesn’t seem to feel like it is. But I think it’s all about messing with the technology before you can find something useful to do with it. Happy Monday everyone.
With cute chocolate-filled crackers in such adorable packaging, you’d think these snacks would have a cute name too. Did you know that “kancho” in Japanese means to clasp your hands together with your index fingers sticking out, and to poke someone’s butt with your hands placed in that manner? Yeah, there’s an actual term for that action. Even with its butt action related name, these little crackers are pretty good.
