I’ve always loved models of chairs like the Eames Molded Plastic chair – chairs that I can’t currently afford but would like to own some day. Poketo just released new models into their mini designer chair collection in blind boxes. Until I can purchase a real one, I’d love to start a collection out of these.

I just read in Anthology magazine that West Elm is having a Yellow Owl Workshop event this Saturday at their store location in Emeryville. It’s going to be a stamp carving and printmaking workshop combined with a book signing with Christine Schmidt, author of the Yellow Owl Workshop. She’ll be signing copies of her new book, Print Workshop: Hand-Printing Techniques + Truly Original Projects. Sounds like fun.
Also, I sort of have to have this elephant set of goods – way too cute.
There’s many reasons to be smitten with spring, and I’m not just talking about spring fashion collections. Speaking of which, I’m in love with the J. Crew, Kate Spade, and UO spring collections this year (and pretty much every year to be honest). Yesterday Poketo released a new series of wallets for spring 2011. All of them are gorgeous but my two favorites are Jolby and Jennifer Sanchez.
Whenever I need fashion inspiration, Le Blog de Betty never fails to deliver. I’ve been going through my closet trying to decide what to wear to my company holiday dinner tomorrow night. We’re not exactly going to a high-end restaurant, but it’s still nice to dress up a bit. I fell in love with this dress on Le Blog de Betty, and even though I definitely won’t be wearing anything like that tomorrow night, it’s a real beauty.
Recently I made a delightful discovery that my sister left her silver TOMS glitters in LA after her move. I decided to borrow them and got an instant flood of compliments from friends, coworkers, and even strangers on the street. TOMS glitters are nothing new, my sister was sporting them 2 years ago. It just took awhile for me to take a liking to them. Now that I have, I desperately want the black ones.
I love the new heart by ban.do headbands
I’ve learned that buying a headband with a huge bow is a bad idea. I have 2 which I’ve never worn, except for once on Halloween. But, I still really love how it looks on the model! I think you can only pull it off if you star on Gossip Girl or perhaps at an art show opening?
